As a destination wedding photographer, I am always SO excited to travel with my awesome clients for their wedding. After doing a fun desert engagement session in Albuquerque with their dogs, Hannah + Jake asked me to be their photographer for their mountain wedding in Breckenridge, Colorado. I was super pumped not just to photograph their wedding in such a beautiful place, but also because they’re just really cool people. We totally connected over a love for the outdoors, traveling, camping, and of course, cute dogs (they have two!).
Jake + Hannah wanted a simple, stress-free wedding that would be focused on spending time with friends and family and truly enjoying the experience rather than on meaningless traditions and wedding “fluff”. That’s exactly how I feel weddings should be, so I was totally on board! The week of their wedding, they spent time just hanging out with their guests and exploring Breckenridge. There’s nothing like doing something you love, like hiking, with the people you love in celebration of your marriage! Hannah + Jake’s destination wedding so memorable – not because it was super fancy, but because it was exactly what they wanted and such a great representation of who they are. Here’s to more weddings like that!
